This was a long Monday for Seth back to school and starting soccer after an even longer weekend in PA for racing.
Seth had a couple of bland practices before qualifying into the B Main, starting third.
Here is the best footage - since I did not do such a great job filming (too busy cheering). Seth is the blue car, #3:
At the end of the race, Seth was third and had the position to take second and everything went crazy. While Seth came across the line 4th, he was put to the back, receiving the strike.
Not what we were hoping for.
Coming into this weekend he was ranked 23rd nationally in Junior Honda pavement (http://www.usac25.com/#!national-rankings/wws0s) however that A Main finish would have boosted his average.
Both Dad and Seth worked pretty hard and I am sure there are some enduring lessons for everyone.
Like a dirty shirt!
Qualified 6/6, but gave them a run for their money. He got hit pretty hard from behind on the first yellow. He raced it up to third and then crashed out - braking some parts that Dad is going to have to fix quickly!
.... On my side of the bed.
And Lanes out at 8:19.
This year Seth is in third grade and Lane starts PreK.
